That stupid scam for Progress Energy/FPL customers.
I just now received a call from them on my cell phone and this time I actually listed to it and pressed
(#1). I told them that I already reported them to the Do Not Call List and the lady (Brittany) said that I couldn't have since this is the first time the had called me. I told them that it wasn't. She of course said that it was. Then she tried to sell me their stupid product! I told her that she was really pushing it and asked to speak to her supervisor. She said that she would take me off of their list.
What I find interesting that now, rather than listing their phone number on the caller i.d., it is listed as "private". I deliberately answered it this time because I wanted to speak to a live person.Caller: Wouldn't say

I think this is the same group as 713-231-7060, they just have another number (she identified the organization as Saving America's Energy Association. I told her I'm not interested, let her go through her spiel, then repeated that I'm not interested and she started re-reading the exact same thing again. When I said I don't want to be contacted again (especially since they now have my cell #) I got the line about "don't want to sell you anything." Then she hung up on me. This outfit is a waste of my time! I FINALLY got them to stop calling my home phone by having the fax machine answer - wish I could do that with my cell!!!
My husband and I have also received these calls saying they have our name from FPL...
They are just trying to sell us stuff we don't want. It is annoying when they call our
cell phone that we have on the "do not call" list.
my 2d call on my cell phone, stating calling to assit FPL customers on how to save money and energy cost.... I hung up each time. Has to be a scam and NOT from FPL
