Yep, repeated calls to my cell, they leave no message, and when I call back the message says: "Thank you for calling Comcast. This call may be monitored or recorded for quality purposes. Please hold for next available agent. (brief pause) We are experiencing technical difficulties. Please try your call again." Of course, then they hang up.
I have been getting a call from this number every day for the past week, but I never answer because I'm always busy. They never leave a message, so I figure it's not an important call. Good thing to know it's not worth answering as most other people say there's no one on the other end when they answer it.
If I don't recognize the area code then I don't answer it, but even when I do recognize the area code, if I don't recognize the number (i.e. school code after area code, or the number isn't programmed into my phone) then I still won't answer.
Looking at other sites, it seems that it's Comcast, again, calling from a different number trying to sell some cable offer. Apparently people that don't even use Comcast are getting these calls. They said they called Comcast and told Customer Services to put them on their "Do Not Call" list, but the rep said it would take 30 days.
