Yep, I'm in trouble too with the all the courts in the world, all the magic-strates, ustreasury(located somewhere outside the real US), etc. I think these are the same dudes who wanted to "help" with my computer, calling from "microw soft". Usually they don't leave a message but I guess they were a bit desperate, didn't make their month. Don't fall for these dudes. I think calling back just informs them they've got somebody's attention & another shot. These guys are big time scammers, just after money, willing to do & say anything to get it. The latest scams need to be reported so others will be prepared when these creeps come calling with their latest bs.
This fool left a message on my home phone indicating that I was going to be facing several law suits and class actions from the Department of Treasury (yeah, right) unless I returned his call. He has an Indian accent, hard to understand the full name, but first name did sound like Steve. Clearly, this person does not work for the US treasury department.
"Steve Martin and I'm calling regarding an enforcement action. Executed by US pleasure Lee. Intending your serious attention. Ignoring this will be an intentional attempt to avoid initial appearance before a magistrate judge or a grand jewelry for a federal criminal fence. My number is 504-535-5920. I repeat 504-535-5920. I'd you to cooperate with us and help us to help you. Thank you."
Don't know how these people continue to get away with these scams. They get more brazen as time goes by. The do not call list is a joke. I get more calls now then ever showing caller ID #'s that aren't even in existence. Seems like we just have no choice but to suck it up!
