Another fake Dell scammer. I like to torment them a little and ask which Dell computer, as I own two, but have also junked two. When they say my Desktop I ask if they mean my Dimension 8200 -- which went out of service in 2006. "Yes, that is the machine" is usually the response. I enjoy telling them it went out of service a decade ago and they should stop calling.
I have also asked questions including "what service tag is this in reference to?" Dell will generally not give you this information if you actually speak to them; they rely on you to provide it to them for service. They generally list a machine with a tag starting with S. I own no such machine at present.
