Well they are still up to it, only now he has a lady friend calling from Howell, MI on 517-518-7024. Only difference was instead of "have a blessed day" she said I should have my attorney call her back. Really?
Same as everyone else. IRS fraud, going to send the county sheriff to arrest me if I don't call them back. Indian accent. Closed the call with, "Have a blessed day."
I got the same call from 571-210-5952 on 12/12/2014 @ 9:45 am, and same message claiming to be the IRS and I was being investigated for tax invasion and fraud. If I did not call them back they would send the case to Federal Court and I would be arrested by the County Sheriff. Voice was a well spoken Indian. Told me to have a blessed day.
I Google the number and found out all this. I hope nobody falls for this.
Received same voice mail, in every detail. well spoken Indian(from male person from India), tax evasion, etc. Directline. Then "Have a blessed day". Give me a break. 12-13-2014. ts
This person called 12-13-2014 sometime during the day and claimed to be the IRS. They said to call them back on 571-210-5952 before this matter was sent to the federal authorities and the local authorities and I could be incarcerated for 72 hours while the matter is being investigated. Also the accent was "indian" from India and said to call before they flag my SSN. This is ridiculous as I was just at my local tax office and if there was a problem with the IRS wouldn't this be in their records? Plus I am a housewife and work part time. I also have an alert through equifax which I pay for every month. This should be reported and should constitute harrassment of some sort. If they do not address you by name it must be a crank call.
