This is a "Yellow Pages" internet listing. They tell you that your listing is set to expire at the end of the month. They just want to confirm your address & phone number (for any changes in the listing) and they are happy to mail the invoice for $499.00 for ANOTHER year listing fee. I receive these calls every month. I try to tell them that we have never had a PAID listing and do not want one. At that point they hang up. I have also tried to call the number back to ask them to remove our number from their database, but as others have reported - the number is not in service.
Receive these calls every month & multiple times a month. They hang up on you before you can get any information from them. All of my phone numbers are on the National No Call List.
To stop the calls, call your service provider and complain. Mine put an immediate stop to the number. I informed them for $499 I will not go hunting....
