received a call on caller i.d. from 517-267-3623 (this is a wireless number on my caller i.d.) Rang a few times, and left no message.

Obviously a scam charity. If you want to help veterans please give to a charity where most of the money goes to help vets. Organizations like this take money that could be donated legitimate veterans organizations. Please check out any organizations that you want to give a donation. I will not give to charities that call me and there is no prior relationship.
