I received 2 phone calls yesterday from a Jason miller.(571-298-8533) He claimed to be an IRS officer and presented a threatening tone asking me to call him back asap. He also claimed the matter was time sensitive. When I called back I got a message saying "licensed reached, # of calls limited and to contact administrator.? Going to report this to the IRS asap.
I received a voice mail in a very threatening foreign accent to call and not ignore this call. Lots of background noise including other scam artists in the call center leaving the same message. Ironically when you try to dial it back the call will not go through. I hope no seniors fall prey to this scam.
I too, have just received a call from Officer Eric Foster. This is the second time that this has occurred. He left a message advising me that if I or my lawyer, didn't return his call all he could do was wish me luck. I called back and they answered, and I hung up. The first time they said they would be at my house the next day to arrest me. I invited them over, and bring plenty of help. I called The IRS last time, and they stated that they have received several calls about this. They also said that they were investigating it.
