When you pick up the phone, it registers with their computer that it was answered and they will call again. Just check with your phone company and ask them how to block numbers. they will tell you.
I have a call blocker and it works pretty well, although because I have multiple phones operating from a master it rings once before the number is disconnected..I can live with it. It is surprising how many numbers the same callers can have. I can block 1200 numbers and fully believe I will fill it up within a few years.
Keeps calling - they do not leave a msg. Consumers have no rights. Never thought I'd have to screen my calls via TV screen. Poor America - we are falling apart.
