Received a call from this number today. I always answer my phone, if for no other reason than to play along with the idiots who continue to call me, expecting me to fall for their scams and then provide them with my financial information. Yeah ... that'll happen when pigs fly or hell freezes over, whichever comes first. There's always that telltale little "blip" (like the noise that "Pop-Up videos" used to make). Then, the person (or, in this case, robot) states his/her name, which is when I hang up. As for those calls I receive from a real human (although that term is questionable, since how can anyone with a conscience make a living by preying on others), I tell them at the outset that I do not provide any financial information over the phone. That terminates the call, of course, but it doesn't stop these blood-sucking pond scum from calling, nor does the so-called "Do-Not-Call-List" ... a useless band-aid on the festering sores of unwanted calls.
Caller ID Showed Lorton, Virginia. Whoever It Was Scam/Phishing/Fraudulent Scheme, Left No Message. I Don't Answer Calls Unfamiliar To Me. If They Knew Me They Would Leave A Legit Message. Caller Blocked And Will Report To FCC/FTC.
