This guy called sounded like he was from India; al ot of calls gon gon in the background. Told me he was calling form Micrsoft in reference to a problem with by computor or windows. He knew my name and had my email but I knew this had to be a scam. I played along for a fminute just to see where it would go. He wanted me to actually give him my IP to access my computor so that he could fix the "problem". I laughed and told him I wasn't that stupid. His response was that "I am an American and that yes I was that stupid; that if you are Americans you are stupid". I laughed at him told him to get a real job stop trying to scam innocent people across the country... and hung up on him. This was clearley someone trying to gain access to my computor in the hopes of getting into my personal accounts for his own personla gain. Get a call form this number I strongly suggest that you hang up and note this number as a scam call.
Just got a call from this number. Guy who was very hard to understand sounded like he was from India said that he was with the government grants department and that i had been chosen to by the government and was being given a 10,200 grant because I met the qualifications. I automatically new it was a scam but I followed along and asked what I had to do to receive the grant money. He said the money comes from the Federal Reserve Bank in NY and that they could put the money in my bank account with my routing and account number. HAHAHA. The other option would be to put the money directly on any plastic card, debit, credit, prepaid it didn't matter they would just need the institution name and my card number.
