The caller asked to transfer me to a call center to demand that the Government not increase the ethanol in our fuel. She eloquently stated that if they "sneak" this in, ALL of our car engines will seize up and we will have no corn to eat, or feed to animals. So, of course, no meat either. No cereal or corn meal to fry fish. (All her words)
I challenged that perhaps this problem would fix itself. If all of our cars stopped working, due to this bad gas, then the evil government would have created a product that none of us need and they would have to use corn for other things like food products. Except that tractors would also be broken so they would have to use horses or other animals to work the fields. She agreed with everything I said, and said it is all very confusing.....to her!

They called AGAIN. This time, she got as far as "Energy.." when I cut her off with "I have no time for this. Take me off your list." She tried to talk over me, whereupon I repeated, "Take me off your list." She STILL kept trying to talk, over me. I hung up. I have my doubts as to whether they will comply with that, but still...
