Caller stated he was calling to help lower my Interest rates. I asked on What. He stated all my Credit Cards. I asked how would he know i have Credit Cards. He stated he was calling to lower Interest rates on either Visa or Master Card. I stated, those are 2 different companies. He stated he worked for Visa. I replied, you worked for Visa and you`re calling to get me klower rates on all my credit cards? He said, sarcastically, that I should have gotten a letter with my last statement making me aware of his forthcoming call. I told him he was full of [***]. He was smart enough to hang up.
Do not talk to these people. I have called the New York State Attorney Generals` office. This person works with no Major Credit Card or Mortgage Company. They seem to be absorbing a lot of personal information. He had no idea what cards I had. I haven`t had a Master Card in years.

A collection agency by law cannot tell you they are someone else or they can be sued. They have to identify themselves as a rep from the company. This is some rip off company. We just got a call from this number and they chic hung up when I asked what kind of company this was. If they call back again they will be given specific information to never contact me again or they will be sued. You all should keep track and ask questions, get names and write it all down. This is called harrassment and it's against the law. Do not enter in your information but verbally advise them to never contact you and to remove you from their list.
I receive at least 2 or 3 calls per day from this number. I usually don't answer it. Today I purposedly didn't answer and let the call go to my voice mail. It was an automated recording but most of the beginning was cut-off. They did say to press 2 if you want to be taken off of their call list. I did just that so lets see what happens!
