They called twice today, 1st call came in the morning and left a recorded message that sated "my name has come up in a government tax evasion crime and we are going to be arrested blah blah blah" threatening bullsh*t. I didn't finished the whole message just deleted it. 2nd call came in this evening while I was on the phone already, I didn't switch over, so they didn't get through anyway. Scam of some sort. Don't know what the hell it is...
OH NO!!! I'm going to jail for tax evasion too!!!! Wonder if they were calling for me or the other adults in my house though since they didn't bother to even say who they were calling for ..... nice try people.
A number or our neighbors have received this recorded call; ours came through this morning. If you call back, you will be told to send a specified amount of money to a certain account. It is definitely a scam; the IRS does not notify people by phone and they NOT threaten you with arrest.
