The number you are getting a call from is a ghost number. It all gets routed out of a business called Auto/Vehicle Processing Department in Santa Anna Ca. They are a complete rip off. Their main number used to be 1-800-356-8170. It may have changed.
I have been receiving phone calls from this number everyday even weekends! Sometime more than once a day. I have spoken to them and asked them to stop but it continues
"Blocking" these calls is easy if you have a smartphone. I have names in the contact called junk_1, junk_2 and so on. Start with junk_1. Add this phone number to work/mobile or whatever. Then attach a silent ringtone to it. Every time you get a junk phone call like this add it to the junk name. if you exhaust all possible phone numbers in junk_1, create a junk_2.
At least this way, you do not get disturbed when the same call comes through more than once.
Yeah, a thick-accended gentleman called with regards to one of my cars and immediately started asking me questions like how many miles my odometer was reading. They have called six times total. They never leave a message. Once I had my husband answer it, and they hung up on him.
I have been getting calls from 610-200-5771 for about a week now and it is getting on my nerves. Said its about the warranty on my car. He knew what kind of car that I got. When I had my wife called the number back she got a message that said business hours are Monday through Friday 7am to 4 pm pacific time. it was 3pm central time when she called so that does not make since. that is 1 pm pacific time.
