Have called my house approximately 9 times in almost 2 weeks. When my husband answers, no one is there. They left one message saying they are from the Pennsylvania chief of police association? And then hung up. Not what the phone call was in regards to. WTH?!
Number called me 10:40 am on a Thursday. Came up as a Bethlehem PA number.
I answered the phone to a ringing like I called the number - which was odd. Heard the line pick up, and I didn't say anything. Listened for about 20 seconds to what sounded like breathing and voices of a call center in the background and then hung up.
Number called just after 10:40 am today. Picked up, heard a ring, then heard a call center. When I said something a woman got on and said that I hadn't extended passenger protection coverage for my car, which they knew the make, model, and year of. She then told me to give her my mileage. I said no thank you and she replied, "Okay", then I hung up.
This number has been calling my for weeks, saying that I needed to extend the warranty on my car. I spoke with a rep from my dealership who said that this is a common scam. DO NO GIVE INFO
