I answered and said (as I must due to state law) "Hello this telephone call is recorded." No one spoke for 5 seconds so I said "Speak now or your number will be perminantly blocked. Five, four, three, two, one [as I counted the seconds]. Because you have not spoken your telephone number will be perminantly blocked. Goodbye." I have now used my Panasonic Cordless Telephone to block their telephone number from calling my home.
So the # 610-314-0012 calls me at least 2 times a week and never leaves a message. I was reading up on some of these comments and took the advice of Daniel and called the company back and told them that the phone call was recorded. I got in touch with a lady named "Rosa Howard" I asked her what type of company that it was and she told me it was a law office. Her accent was rather thick and I could not hear the name of the law office. I asked her what the call was regarding and she could not tell me ( I called from a different #) She said that they had many departments. So I asked her what state they are in and she told me Massachusetts. I then said to her "no, you cant be, your area code of the phone # is 610 and that is for Pennsylvanian." Then she told me i was wrong and that i called the wrong #. So if feel its clear to see that this phone # is a complete SCAM. I'm putting in a complaint with the BBB. Hopefully this is helpful to other people that get a call from this #.
Scam I called the hospital they said a 0 balance but this number (610)3140012 said I owe 1,400 and wanted payment they also refused to give me the name of the original place the bill came from. The hospital, tax guy and bank said do not pay and block their number!!! Another number they gave me was 1-866-844-5255 his name was John another name was Oscar it is a scam. They did have the date of service I went to the hospital but I don't know how they got that info but I am current with the hospital so do not pay them anything!!!!!
