This number was left after a phone message, saying if you have any questions here is our fax number. Who the heck gives a potential customer a fax number to call if you have questions? They said we ordered a free trial, if we did, we never got it, so I must agree with the first few posters. I am guessing Ken works for them. Ken, why are they so oblivous to give a fax number for answering questions? Why are you so angry that someone has posted the truth about this company? The BBB site doesn't post complaints lightly.
this company sent me their book as promised and I returned it in the correct amount of time. I am still getting a bill even though I wrote cancel across my invoice when I returned their merchandise.
I just went on the website that was listed on the first comment. I did get to the company I needed from there. I did get to speak to a live agent. They haven't recieved the book I returned yet. She did notate my account that I wanted to cancel though. If I get another invoice next month, she said to call back. 1-800-220-5000
If they were so upstanding...
1. the number wouldn't come up as "private" on caller ID, AND
2. when you tell them you're not interested, you wouldn't receive a fax the same afternoon, thanking you for "agreeing to exam [whatever] on a 30-day trial," AND
3. the fax would list the company's name and phone number (not just a fax number). What kind of reputable company sends out marketing materials without their name and contact info on it?
I've already been scammed by this company sending things that I didn't agree to -- and the fight with my boss that ensued had a big part in my decision to quit my employer since my boss wouldn't do anything to back me up. (My last day is this Friday -- thanks, Progressive Business Publications.)
DO YOUR HOMEWORK, WACKJOB. I am not the only person to have a problem with them...this is WHY so many people make the time and effort to write about this scam company, to save others from the same false billing that they tried to stick us with. WHAT A DUMBF*CK you are.
