Called at 4:30PM today from "Chimney Cleaning". Told them I didn't need their service and wasn't interested and then hung up. Didn't think it was worth mentioning that I was on the DNC list or that I received a similar call at 7:30PM the previous night.
Spoof number used by All Star Chimney. The caller could not explain why they use a fake phone number ID. The business itself does exist and is registered as a PA home improvement contractor, at least. Call them at 855-897-4355 to complain.
Called at 930am. Caller said it is time to schedule annual safety inspection for chimney. Talked about how a fire could start in a dirty chimney, blah, blah, blah. Tried to get me to make appt. Told him I clean my own chimney and have it inspected every 5 years, then I hung up. Seems like a scam to scare people into making appointments. Making it sound like they are some kind of city or town inspection agency.
