I receive multiple calls in a day - when I finally answered they were calling someone named Peter. Usually I doln't bother answering if I don't recognize the number.
Progressive Financial Services, Inc. they have called 5 times in the last 10 days for a man, whom I have never heard of. They are a SCAVENGER DEBT COLLECTOR... Meaning they are trying to collect debts that have reached the Statute of Limitations in this state [Florida] I have had my phone nr. for 6yrs. Which puts all but Child Support beyond the collection limites, as I know it. The State of Florida doesn't sell Child Support Dues. They CXLD all your licenses and put you in jail for failuer to pay. I will be filing with the State of Florida Attorney Generals Office, and what ever state this companys Home Office is in. Also the Federal Government has a complaint website. I have used it before. Its Called the Fair Debt Collection Act. I think that is the name.
additional info on this phone nr. 610-546-4510, could also be 610-874-2419 and 610-876-3635; the exact name is PROGRESSIVE FINANCIAL SERVICES.. no inc. That is another company. Their address is 1510 Chester Pike, Eddystone, Pa. 19022 and are assocated with a Company called Edward Jones in that same town. Is a Land line. Sounds like a man home phone.
Get their address and send a "Cease and Desist Letter". It should be sent via certified mail and return receipt.

I they contact you again, then you can sue them for violating federal and state laws prohibiting collection agencies to cease contacting an individual once requested.
This collection agency calls people and reportedly fails to identify itself as a collection agency and the purpose of its call or contacting people as a effort to collect. I received a call from them and they left a message to call them back to discuss a matter regarding employment! I suspect it is a trick to get me on the phone to collect information under the pretense of an employment related matter!!!
