I too, have received a harassing call from this number with the same story. Wanted to serve me papers, claimed they already tried to at my work,and were going to come to this number. It was my mothers home. I don't have any alleged debt, that they didn't even identify. They are bottomsucking scumbags. Check the FDCPA. there is illegal practice going on here.
I just recieved a call from this number about 3:45 pm as well saying that I was going to be served with some papers. They said that this called served as notice. Now they said they will try to find me at my place of residence or my job. Cheryl. It seems like we both recieved the call around the same time. Could this be portfolio recovery?
