I was suspicious about this # since they never leave messages and call at odd times. After some very extensive research, I discovered that this is an unlisted # for PPL Inc. Although when you call, it is a call pilot for "North Hill Corp" or something of that nature asking for a mail box #.
I have no idea how legitimate this # is or whether it is affiliated w/ PPL Electric Utilities.
i got a call from 610-774-5000 and when i call it back it says "call pilot" mailbox beep...wtf does that mean..lol i read the above post and i do have ppl and i do owe them money so that saounds about right they r just tring to call from some blocked crazy number....i'll be damed if i pay them off this number though so they can just keep calling as i press ignore
i have ppl as well but they do not know my cell number and i got a call for the 1st time tonite its after 7 pm. ppl office close at 430 i beleive,they called my cell not my home...
Was first called for days on end by 215-394-1993 claiming to be PP&L and offering to give subsidy if I gave them the account information. I finally told them that I would file charges with the state DA if they kept on calling. We have now been getting calls at the same time of day from 610-774-5000. When I answer I get a dial tone. When I call back I get Call-Pilot which seems to be a voice mail system in Allentown.
