Maybe this scammer is "crazy like a fox". By spoofing an obviously spoofed number, he's "pre-screening" his potential victims. Anyone who doesn't notice the impossible number, is more likely to overlook other flaws in his scam. Good con artists don't just pick their marks randomly, they look for easy prey.
Called and left no message. A call like this usually came from low life immigrants came from poor, screwed up and full of betrayals countries who would scam and cheat everybody in here. Just ignore them and don't believe any single word that they said and don't do any business with them especially over the phone. They can say who they are but they are foxes wearing sheepskin costumes and ready to scam and cheat any people at any time. You can tell these people by their thick noticeable accent and barely understand their English words.
I got the same call today, was hoping they would say ANYTHING but instead hung up... was disappointed by that because I wanted to speak to them on their level of language that they speak to the average receiver of such fraudulent calls, I was looking forward to informing them that they are in major trouble and they will be traced...
