Rec'd the call with info about lowering credit card interest. Pressed '1', spoke with individual (English is their second language) who told me he was from 'VisaMastercard'. I asked him if he was going to give me a 'VisaMastercard' as I didn't have one. There was silence...then I said "this is where you hang-up" to which he then possibly swore at me in his own language and then hung up. This was the second call, why didn't I block the number after the first one?!?!?
This is a scam. They say they work for Visa & Mastercard and can lower the interest on one of your cards. Hung up when I said I didn't have any credit cards. Still receiving calls!!
les premieres fois sur mon cell cela marquait nouvelle Zélande sous le numéro et la c'est marqué Canada. Meme numéro sauf un 1- devant. alors il raffine leur méthode.... que supercherie. Je n'avais répondu qu'une seul fois et personne a l'autre bout. une canadienne.
They called me regarding my credit card, I knew it was a scam and played along with it. They claim they have all my information regarding my current credit card, my interest being 19.99% and they claim they can lower it to 3%
I decided to follow along and made them believe I was very interested. After speaking to a male who I could barely understand he asked for all my information but said he already has it on his system and it shows I am a valuable costumer. Anyway the funniest part of all of this is that I DO NOT EVEN HAVE A CREDIT CARD. It's so sad this is being done to innocent people who don't know any better. These people make me sick.
