Bell Canada does NOT call you from a (647) area code. It is always 1-(866), or your area code 310-xxxx. If it's a 'great deal' and you really want it, phone 310-BELL & get it.
Got a call from these guys claiming to be Bell Canada and offering a deal for phone service. Beware of these suckers, they are looking for information. A lawyer friend told me they are overseas, possible Tamils, looking for personal information or credit card numbers. 100% fraud!
It's a 647 area code, guys. That's Toronto, not India. As much as I dislike the telemarketing calls, you can't deem each one as coming from overseas simply because you like to think it can't possibly be happening so close to home.

I get a lot of calls from the duct cleaners, usually once a week or more. This time they said they were Bell Canada offering packaged services. Indian accent consistent with the many duct cleaners.
