Some chic (recorded message) leaving a message saying it was a courtesy call to remind me to about the offer to LOWER my credit card INTEREST RATE... obviously a scam... [***] these people
Guy called, I pressed 1 to speak with an agent so I could get the company name and file a complaint with the CRTC, the guy identified himself as "Kevin" from "Visa Card Services" I asked him which card or company he was representing, he repeated it. I said I didn't believe him and asked for a manager, he told me to hang up the phone. Really? Why didn't he just hang up on me? I asked again and he asked me why I was wasting my time, I told him I've got all the time in the world to waste so long as I'm wasting HIS time (knowing that any time they don't make sales, they're not getting paid commission). He was rude and it was a total scam. I hung up after blowing an airhorn into the phone, then immediately received another call, this time from a number without caller ID, so I didn't answer. I hope he calls back so I can harass him again.
