I received a similar letter along with a check for 6,750 thousand dollars. I called Bob Allen, and he wanted me to deposit  the check. The letter also claimed I won 1,500,000 dollars  and said they were sponsored by Publishers Clearing House. He said to contact him after the check cleared and he would arrange someone to come to my home with the rest of the money. The check he sent and wanted me to deposit was for insurance, handling, shipping and attorney fees. One problem the check would not clear. I called and confronted him and he hung up on me. I called back several times and asked for a return call, but that didn't happen either. I figured it was some type of scam.
