Had a client receive this call and forwarded the information to my accounting office. I called Adam Smith back and with a slow, heavy accent, he kept wanting to know if I was a lawyer and asked me to give out my client information. I asked him to give me some identifying information but he wouldn't. Had a co-worker call again and got accused of being criminal accountants.
Just received the same call from Damon Marshall. Thick accent, said he was from the Criminal Investigation Unit, and that he wanted to talk "Have a word" with my husband about a warrant that had been issued for his arrest before forwarding to our local police. It sounded like he was calling from a room full of people on the phone.
