This person with a very fake sounding french accent said they were from CRA Canada Revenue Service. Then some unintelligable crap about some legal action. You would think if people were going to try this sort of scam they would at least get the name of the government agency correct. If Canada Revenue was calling about something they would certainly know your name.
Have received this same CRA computer-generated voice for the past four days. I tried to call them back when I heard the first voicemail message (before I woke up and attempted to investigate the number as I should have done in the first place). I don't think it seem to ring at all and then I heard a message saying "the person is not answering please try your call again later".
Got that same call three times already. I did not call back because obviously Revenue Canada would have a person call and tell you what the problem is; not a computer generated phone call threatening you.
