Sad to be the first. Rec'd call from David Marshall claiming to be a CRA Officer etc etc. Actually left a message to get back to him at this number. It was clear that this was not the CRA calling. This is a well documented scam; only the number (likely spoofed) has changed. .
They just called us now. They said this is the Canada Revenue Agency and there is a lawsuit under your name and call this number ...at which this point we hung up. The speaker was a male with an accent.
David Marshall called and claimed he is from Revenue Canada and said there is a lawsuit under my name, and asked me to call me back ASAP, otherwise, I'll be under arrested. Totally scam.
I got this message from a David Marshall of Canada revenue a lawsuit has been filed under my name I must get back to him. The thing that got me was no 1800 # this is the gov plus no gov official would use "god bless you " for this could be offensive to some.
