Received multiple phone calls from this number. Finally answered today. Was told that he was calling from the "redemption department" -- and that my credit card company gave them my phone number. Said that because my credit card was in good standing.... they were offering me $100 gas vouchers -- plus the opportunity to sign up for two exciting new programs -- that would save me money; Saver City and Holidays Savings... free to try out for 14 days. All he needed was my credit card number......
So what's wrong with this scenario? He refused to tell me what company he was calling from -- or WHICH of my credit card companies gave him my number. AND my credit cards all maxed out! LOL
Anyway -- some kind of scam.... he was offended when I suggested ....
I keep getting calls from this number. I purchased a phone set that let's me block specific phone numbers. Guess which one is at the top of my blocked caller lis!
If these a-holes don't stop calling, I WILL pay for the reverse lookup info, go down there and wrap the phone cord around their necks. Changing my machine message to "we screen because the CRTC no-call list is useless, please leave a message if it's important".
