Received multiple phone calls from this number. Finally answered today. Was told that he was calling from the "redemption department" -- and that my credit card company gave them my phone number. Said that because my credit card was in good standing.... they were offering me $100 gas vouchers -- plus the opportunity to sign up for two exciting new programs -- that would save me money; Saver City and Holidays Savings... free to try out for 14 days. All he needed was my credit card number......
So what's wrong with this scenario? He refused to tell me what company he was calling from -- or WHICH of my credit card companies gave him my number. AND my credit cards all maxed out! LOL
Anyway -- some kind of scam.... he was offended when I suggested ....
These people have been bugging me for years. At least once a day, everyday, I used to answer it and press 9 to be no longer contacted, yet the very next day they would call again. The last few calls I have received from them, I selected 1 to talk to a representative and not very politely requested they remove me from their call list. Now they call me at least twice a day. Is this not harassment and why are these people getting away with it?
my phone company let`s me add number to my block list for free, but when that fails i just add their number to my phonebook and set my ringer tone to none, problem solved.
I keep receiving phone calls from this number sometimes three/four times a day. I spoke with an agent and asked to please do not call again, did not work! they keep calling.
