I was called shortly after giving some personal information to a WorldMark Wyhdham sales representative at their Windsor location. After inquiring where she got my information he woman with an Asian accent said it was from public records. I told her my cell phone number she called was private information I give out only sparingly. She promptly hung up. (She was also calling to offer me mortgage refinancing). I am SO disappointed that Wyndham is tarnishing their brand by selling their list of timeshare owners to other companies.
Received a call (to my do-not-call list number), they gave me some background information about myself and my home (public records), and told me I was pre-qualified to refinance my home. I asked who they represented, they told me they "represented various banks." I told them they're not allowed to call my number and they hung up. I have not been to any Wyndham locations or given out any personal information lately, so I don't think there's any correlation there.
