Same story here. Got two calls routed through Louisviile, KY about returning to school within an hour of receiving this text. I agree that it is seriously unprofessional at best, and misleading. Screams out SCAM if they are unwilling to identify themselves in an above-board, professional matter. Beware everyone!
Received text and called. When I asked if they were even affiliated to the company I applied they abruptly ended the conversation. They were asking a lot of questions and didn't feel comfortable giving out info on myself. They need to be turned in!
I got the same text and I have been trying to get back to work after 18 months so I called the number and talked to a young man who got an earful of my frustration and I have been on so many job boards applying for jobs that I could not tell you which one it was on. I hung up when he prompted me to gorder to the special promotion that I have qualified for at a reduced price of course. What a horrible bunch of idiots that think its okay to scam people like that.
I too have been receiving texts from these people stating they are PDN Jobs. I have no idea where they got my phone number. I did NOT sign up to Geebo. They are now using another number 650-204-8767 along with 650-200-1484. I can't get them to stop! It's extremely annoying especially when you are job hunting. I downloaded Clean Inbox sms blocker, it doesn't seem to work! Frustrating.
