This is a scam. These people call people who have applied for or taken out online loans and threaten them with aresst and many other things if they do not settle the matter immediatly. They all have middel eastern accents and they butcher the english. On one site I read that the man idnetified himself as the "attorney bishop". They are horrible people - search the site for these numbers and you will see what I mean - 646-274-1143 and 708-401-0535

These people keep calling as an Officer Mike Henderson, James Williams, etc stating that you,your address, and SSN is being under investigation from The United States Financial Crime Dept.. This is a scam and they called my work #, which happens to be at a military post. When I informed them where they were calling, they hung up. It's a SCAM!
I received the same kind of calls along with my sister. I even went to my local sheriff's office, who happened to have a federal agent still in office when I came, and they both tried to get some info out of these idiots. They advised them to go ahead with the "lawsuit" as they are ready to come for them. What I can't beleive that these idiots still had the balls to call 2 more times!!!! I was at our local VA hospital talking to one of the patient advocates and told them about these "phone" calls, which they listened to the messages that they left on my phone, then they called these idiots. The patient advocates told them that since they claim to be in the USA they must have a physical address to ask for monitary reimbursement or collection of any kind...keep in mind they went to the top of this organization (which we found out that the last 3 people we spoke to were the same person just using a different name)...the idiots said that they feel like we were threatening their lives...NO...just quoting the Federal Law. What is really funny is that when they look at their caller ID they will see "Department of US Defense"...after trying our hardest to get some info...they hung up on us. I was instructed to fill a complaint at our local Federal Courthouse and with homeland security...which I plan on doing.
This is to jhon....I checked all of my checking account statements for the last 5 years and I have never done business with these people nor did I get a deposit of any kind from any internet businesses...so it is a scam.
