robocall from 650-277-2118 caller ID said "URGENT" on Monday 07-28-14 @ 1054 AM
message with males voice stated that the "National Center for Aging........for seniors having injuries, falls, from breakins and death.......free medical alert pendant...............press 1 now to verify your address for shipment.
I pressed 1 and a female came on the line and asked "who am I speaking to".
I said "You are speaking to me you dumb expletive", and stated the "SCAMMER AIR HORN"
Wow oh Wow !! How do you stop these maniacs ? Every single day I get this weird calls now & Im so tired of it. I called back this number and all you get is a recorded message that says, " If you do not want to get our promotions any more , press 1 & we will put you on our do not call list ! Man, I wanted to tell someone off ! haha ! You cant get a real person to answer, because they are too chicken ( you know what ) I want to ask them for THEIR home phone number , so I can call them every day or every other day, see how they like it, how can someone work at a job like this ? Its discusting, but I guess that's what you get when you don't have schooling & can get another job. I just put my number on the do not call list AGAIN, I don't know if it doesn't work anymore or what it going on. Weird numbers , weird names on caller ID. Ok Ive vented , good luck all . Don't know what else to do.
I like thes replies. What reply can I give scammers claiming to be from Microsoft. The first time they swore they were from Microsoft and they had found some bad viruses on my computer from their monitoring station. They said their help was free and to turn my computer on and go to a certain website. It gave them access to my computer. They put some kind of program on it then wanted me to buy "more protection for $99. " I started smelling a rat and immediately turned my computer off. I also deleted the program but about a month later my computer quit working. I believe they did something to it. After that I told them I didn't have a computer but they continued to call. After telling them several times to never call me again they called twice one day about an hour apart and I told them I was tired of their s*** and that I had already reported them. About an hour later they called back and I didn't answer. The answering machine picked up. It was a foreigner cursing and among other things he said "you had better answer this damn phone". I didn't answer but I. Sure they have called back. I just don't answer when I don't recognize the number.
