I have had the same thing happen and they are also calling from weird numbers as well. When I called the number (I blocked my phone number) I got someone on the phone that told me he could not look up my information with the account number that they had given me in the email. I told him I would not be giving him my email address to which he got rude and told me that there was nothing that he could do for me, told me not to call him anymore and then hung up on me. I called him right back and told him that I was passing the information on to the authorities and that charges would be filed against them.
This company called me months ago. So I called an attorney and they said this company was a scam. Now they are emailing me saying I owe $986.45 for a payday loan. Otherwise I will owe over $4,000. Can anyone tell me who they really are or if they are a legit company.
I got the same call with the exact same dollar amount. Don't know who or what this is about. I have had some trouble in the past with payday loans and scams. Does anyone know what this is about? I'm pretty sure they can't do what they are threatening.
I got the exact same e-mail, saying I owe $986.45 which they say is from an on-line pay-day loan funded by Bank of America. I have taken out some pay-day advance loans in the past, but I was pretty sure they weren't affiliated with Bank of America. The e-mail threatened a law suit with a total judgment of $4515.85 plus jail time, if I don't start making payments on the $986.45. They stated, the "IC3 (Internet Crime Complaint Center) has decided to mark this case as a flat refusal and press charges against you" unless you call within 48 hours and make a payment.
I keep. Getting emails from these people saying if I don't pay 985.16 within 48 hours they would press charges that could go up to 4515.85 the same amount. O think its a SCAM AND SOMEONE NEEDSTO TAKE LEGAL ACTION WITH THEM AND THIS IS NOT A THREAT IT NEEDS TO HAPPEN AND IT WILL!!!!
I got an email with the same info as previous people have put a complaint against. The guy I talked to on the phone was rude, disrespectfully, made threats especially against my son, every words he used was f*** he threatened me that he was going to call my work and a lawsuit was going against me, I told him to go ahead my lawyer and police was right next to me tracing where you was at. I also emailed them telling them that they never provided me with documents of a so called loan and that I had my bank account statements showing proof that no loan was never deposited into my account and that harrassment and fraud was charged against them. They have all my persoanl information, everybody who has this problem needs to put a fraud alert on there personal information. These people need to go to jail for fraud and scamming and using other people info.
