A man with a heavy Indian accent called me claiming he was from a United States Federal Grant company and that I was randomly selected to receive $9,500 that I didn't have to pay back, man these scanners are ridiculous and shouldn't believe that this sort of bs will be successful, they of course want your bank information and will likely ask for you to pay taxes on your "FREE" money from the government. Nothing is free, and you will be penalized for being naive and buying into these scams. Be on alert!

Same BS as above. When I asked for verification and his contact information, he said 'that this call was only to verify my information. I asked for his name, "James Smith" was his answer, I thanked Mr. Smith and advised him that I didn't have time for his BS and hung up. Above, you are right, these fools must take us all for a bunch of idiots.
He told me my first and last name and said that I had won money keep in mind that I am 11 years old he told me my birthday and how old I was and he was speaking in a weird accent I told him to call me later.
very heavyaccent,a girl was able to say my first name,and when I kept asking her "who is this?" all she could reply was with another hello...think it was her first scam call ever
