Keep receiving threating calls at work that I owe payday loan. SCAM!!! Be aware...they do have last four of SSN and my bank account info. Please check if you get a call from them again.
A foreign man stating to be Michael Fuller from American Law Associates called me from this number stating I had received money from an online payday loan company and never paid it back. He said there was a lawsuit against me and that he had an affidavit and that my lawyer needed to contact him. He said that if I didn't return the call, I would have to deal with the future consequences. I know this is a scam as I never received any money and once I told him I had bank statements to prove it, he changed his tune. How do people get away with this? It angers me to no end!
