Received a text on my personal cell phone thanking me for visiting their website and to claim a $200 walmart gift voucher. I received this text yesterday also but from a different phone # (415-548-0776). If anyone knows how to stop these, please post it.
Received a text message from 605-305-0301 today, August 5, 2010 on my personal cell phone stating same thing. "Thx 4 Visiting Our Site. Call 877-399-7795 To Claim Your $20 Wal-Mart Card Plus $50 Gas Card! Reply STOP 2Unsub". I won't risk "replying" because I simply don't trust anything about this.
I got a text message from 650-305-0301:
"Thx 4 Visiting Our Site Call 877-399-7795 To Claim Your $20 WalMart Card Plus $50 Gas Card! Reply STOP 2 Unsub."
I suppose if I respond then it confirms that my number is in use and they'll send more junk.
I did not visit any "site" in order to invite texts like this. And I certainly didn't give out my number.
I got a text message from 650-681-7912:
"Thx 4 Visiting Our Site Call 877-399-7795 To Claim Your $20 WalMart Card Plus $50 Gas Card! Reply STOP 2 Unsub."
I do not give my number out online. I will not respond due to getting screwed...
