Fisher Investments. I gave my information, including phone number, to be able to download some investment information they offered; but I remember specifically clicking on the option not to receive any further contact from them. My spam-call blocking software on my phone blocked the call; but I always try to find out who the caller was, in case I might actually want to return the call. In this case, I don't.
Got a call today; no message left. www.whitepages.com tells me its a landline but wants $$$ to tell me who it is. NOT that important. Its definitely not a bill collector. Some crap from someone though. I'm reporting since I thought the National no call list was supposed to prevent these.
They called me today, was extremely noisy in the background, I don't think they knew I answered and said hello. It is not a collections agency, because I have no debt or late bills.
They called and said that I had requested investment information from them, which I hadn't. They thought they had my e-mail address, too and tried to get me to confirm personal information.
