I received a call from this company... Dawn was her name, right away started telling me about a weight loss supplement, when I said I wasn't interested she hung up on me. Curious to know how they got my name and number. My number is on the do not call list.
I just called the number back. A nice lady answered the phone. I informed her I am on the do not call registry and they are to cease and desist any attempt to call me. She was very nice and said my number is now removed from the list. They answer as Garcinia. Never have I purchased this.
Got call on land line. Didn't answer and they left no message. If it is important call they can leave message otherwise we don't answer and hopefully they won't know if we are a live number or not so they can sell our number to other scammers. Hope not answering works. btw DNC works only for honest companies. Scammers don't follow the rules. Often even giving authorities the phone number doesn't work because they are "spoofed" numbers (not the originating calling number).
