This is the phone number of the Pediatrics Department of the Palo Alto Medical Clinic. It's legit. They were calling to follow up on my kids recent doctor visits.
Telemarketing lead generator called from what seemed to be a very loud and busy call center. He tried to set up an appointment to service the heating and air conditioning unit in my home. He dodged any questions I had for him about his company.
I typically would not answer a call from this area code but I am expecting a call so I had to answer.
Called after lunch today trying to 'confirm' an appointment to service our furnace and air conditioning (along with duct cleaning). Woman called said she was from 'Home Service Advisor' (caller ID said 'unknown caller) and insisted that we had booked this service and that we had used them before. We have never used them or heard of them before. But beware seniors, because this woman caller is very insistent and may cause you to doubt yourself. She evades any questions. It is a scam for sure.
