Calls frequently. I never answer. When I checked to see if a message was left, you can hear what sounds like a room full of people.......probably callers bothering other people.
Got a harassing phone call from this number.
Caller said that he represented SR Construction.
Refused to put me on a do no call list - says that he doesn't have to, as the alleged company is doing work within 5 miles of my location.
Gave me a bogus number for the alleged SR Construction company.
Goes by Dan or Don.
Became verbally confrontational upon being told that I do not want to be contacted by him.
I had pretty much exactly the same experience as the previous person did. Got a call from "SR Construction" on my home number today. I told caller that we are on the FCC's Do Not Call list. Caller insisted (wrongly!) that this somehow did not apply to him, and proceeded to become verbally abusive.
The phone number turns out to be bogus. And a routine Google search confirms that there is no "SR Construction" based in our area.
This is a scam attempt, pure and simple.
The next time this loser calls, I intend to string him along & hopefully send him to a false address... or perhaps the address of our local police station.
