This number has been burning up my cell phone, and once, thinking it was my son in between calls, I answered. Said his name was "Marshal." Naturally, I said, "who's this?" and was automatically disconnected... I have signed up for every do not call list and reported to my carrier, TO NO AVAIL... Supposedly, this number, when called back the recording states the number is no longer in service or has been disconnected, YET KEEPS CALLING! It is a Daly City, California area code, not that this means ANYTHING... (i AM IN MISSISSIPPI)

DNC lists only apply to telemarketers and can't protect you from all the illegal ones or the scammers, extortionist and other calls. In self defense, a call blocker is now a good thing to have. google them, most are around 60.00 and can block up to around 1500 numbers.
