My phone just showed New York call. I didn't answer and when answering machine came on they left no message. I tried a reverse lookup and there was no record.
Got a call showing "unknown name" with a recording suggesting that they could lower my credit card rate to 6.9%. "to speak with a live rep press 9". so i did. The lady asked my first name and if i had cards with higher rates than 6.9%. She started asking questions and i asked for a number to call her back after i reviewed the accounts. She got real wierd and started telling me she just needed simple information. I told her that i wasn't sure because my wife usually takes care of bills. She said "oh then you probably have real low rates" CLICK.
Get calls from "Card Services" about once every few months. Got a call today and recording says press 9 to speak to a live rep to get lower rates. After pressing 9, I asked Linda (the live rep) for her number so I can call her back. As she spoke the digits for her number I realized that she was giving me my own number. When I told her the number was mine, she argued that the number was her office number and she had worked there for many years and is sure that is her number...CLICK
I too received a call from (718-000-7625). The number looked a little strange so I let the answering machine pick it up. No message was left. I have a feeling I will be receiving a few of these annoying calls. SCAM..
I received a call from this number as well... didn't answer it and of course, they left no message. What is the point of being on the no-call list when we continue to get junk calls like this?!
