I don't answer numbers I don't know. They left no vm. I googled the number and this site was the first hit...obviously it's a scam. People need to be careful what numbers they answer and call back. You never know these days.
This number called my phone on 6/5/14, but I have Googlevoice which routed it to a spam so I never knew about the call until 5 days later when clearing my spam messages on my phone. I had a VM attached to it - but I just deleted it before deciding to google the number. After reading some posts on here about the call being someone British or Chinese - it's a scam and don't call back. I think it's associated with eBay as my phone number is private and no one really has it. On 5/31 my email address suddenly had a new eBay account show up in my inbox, I quickly went into that account and requested the account be shut down (it was at 11pm at night PST) so I had to change the password and settings in the account until the morning when I could call ebay support. 15 minutes after doing so I got a call from a number listed in Alabama with a 658 area code I think. All the person said was hello and hung up. Cut to 2 weeks later my Paypal account had fraudulent charges from UK home stores made to it. Luckily - I caught the charges while they were still authorizations and still "pending" - I called my creditor and they put a stop payment on all charges from PayPal along with a high fraud alert on my account.
I just got the call like 20 min ago it was a spanish voicemail recording it said something about if you want to listen press 1 and if you want to delete it press 2 something similar to that ! I mean I have mexican family i live right next to the mexican border so I stupidly pressed 1 without thinking! right after I realized I shouldn't have obviously! Now that I googled it I'm freaked out!
