Caller claimed they were from the U.S. Treasury department. When I stopped her and told her she was a scammer and another call would mean report to the FBI she said she would hold while I made the call. I told her to never call me again and take my name off the list and she proceeded to argue with me claiming she would continue to call me. I guess these [***] never heard of call blocking.
Called saying she was from the US GOVT and I was eligible to receive several thousand dollars which didn't need to be paid back and it was once in a lifetime gift. She knew my name and address, wanted to know if there was a store near me that had Western Union. I said yes, she then gave me an ID number and a person's name and phone number to call to verify my information. When I hung up she called again in five mins asking if I had called. I said NO because I just looked her number up and its listed as a scam. I told her I will be calling the police to report this and she said to go ahead...I then hung up. My concern is that she knew my info. These people are creeps, none of them speak good English, bad phone connections, and very noisy background. They never give up do they?
