I just received a letter dated Oct 10 2008 mailed with a canadian stamp.

Supposedly from Mystery Shoppers Inc. at 330 West 42nd St New York, NY 10036 Tel: 1-403-399-3631 Fax: 1-718-208-4022. THE INTERNET LISTS THEM AS BEING LOCATED IN AUSTIN, TX

The US Bank Cashier's Check for $3,499.00 that was enclosed is NOT VALID (per US Bank).
I am supposed to deposit the Cashier's check in my account and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of Money Gram or Western Union buy sending $2,900.00 to Marc Webber in Canada Location, Suite 404 33rd St South, Brandon, Manitoba. Or Chris Burton in New York NY - NO WAY!!!

I just received a letter with the same style letter.  This guy address was in NY.  Same situation, you have to deposit a check which is not authorized and mystery shop at the Western Union.  This is truly a scam.

You are an idiot. Good luck when it turns out to be a fraudulent check and you get hit for the fees.

If you send the money via Western Union you are an even bigger idiot. You're going to need it to pay back the bank when that check is returned as a fraud. If you go through with this, you deserve everything that happens to you.
