How I hate these bloody knee brace telemarketers (located in in NYC (Bronx and Queens primarily). They should all be given one of their own products---a  mouth brace with a bit to prevent speaking :)  They  ring up at the most inconvenient times:  early morning, lunch, or dinner time.  May I suggest to new '800Notes' users:  1. Do not give out ANY information.   2. Hang up and block the number.  There are now two marvelous Call Blockers,  one for computers,  and the other for any stand alone lines and mobiles.  While I block calls via my Mac, I recently learned of a very good stand-alone unit called:  'CallBlock'.  For  more information email:  <[email protected]>.   I also wish to commend this website for it's indispensable ability to keep us  informed these annoying and often illegal call activities.

Robot caller pertaining too back brace I told them that your number was being traced they hung up

Called at 257PM. Caller ID said Out of area.  Recorded female voice said that this was the return call I requested concerning the back brace that I had seen advertised on TV. I hung up and filed a complaint with the FTC.

Literally minutes after doing a google search for orthpaedic surgeons in my region, this number showed up in the caller ID window. Unlikely to have been a coincidence. I am on national 'Do not Call' registry. didn't seem to make any difference.
